There are times when these asset classes can be beneficial to a portfolio as they tend to have low correlation with stocks and bonds. Yes, all of our strategies invest in individual stocks. We may also use ETFs to gain exposure to certain sectors or asset classes.

Our strategies may use a variety of strategies to manage risk in the portfolio, including the use of inverse ETFs. Paraiba’s Wheel Income strategy utilizes covered call options and cash secured puts. Note that our strategies are not the same as hedge funds which have high fees and are illiquid.

During times of historically extreme valuations and heightened volatility, we believe it is important to stay defensively positioned in your portfolio. Paraiba seeks to tactically expose your investments to risk when that risk has a high probability to be rewarded with a favourable ratio of upside. When markets reach psychological frenzied highs or lows it’s important to have an investment manager that uses a disciplined and rules based approach and not follow the herd. Pairaba Wealth Management is 100% owned by the founders and managing members. We answer only to our clients.

We charge a fixed-percentage fee based on the amount of assets we manage on your behalf. We charge a lower percentage fees as the assets we manage increase. Fees are clearly reported and automatically debited from client accounts once per calendar quarter. This fee-based model is independent of how many or few transactions are executed.

Your account is protected from fraudulent activity through a variety of checks and balances. Paraiba works with an independent, third-party custodian who custody your assets, audits ands report all client accounts and investments. Deposits to and withdrawals from all client accounts are made directly to the custodian and not to Paraiba. As a client, you have complete access to all your account information at all times.

Clients can access their accounts online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through a secured internet portal provided by a third-party custodian. Clients receive electronic trade confirmations and monthly statements showing month end portfolio values, changes in value since prior month, summary of any transactions conducted during the month, and a detailed list of each investment holding in their accounts. Paraiba also provides detailed performance summaries of client portfolios.

Paraiba takes an active approach to managing client assets and monitor the investment markets and investment positions held in client portfolios on a daily basis.

Typically, funds are made available to you within a few days of your request. Paraiba uses highly liquid investments that do not have redemption restrictions, and our custodian is able to process withdrawal requests from such investments quickly.
